if a,b are the zeros of the quadratic equation
3x^2+5x+c=0

then, given a^2+b^2= -2/3

Now, a+b= -b/a= -5/3. ==>(1)

ab=c/3. ==>(2)

Now,on squaring (1),

a^2+b^2+2ab=25/9

-2/3+2(c/3)=25/9. (given)

2/3(c-1)=25/9

c-1=(25/9)*(3/2)

c-1=25/6

c=1+25/6

c=31/6

Hope it helps you!!
