Hi,

This is related to Linear Equations.

Linear equation which invoves in one

varible is called ' linear equation in one

variable ' or ' Simple equation ' .

3( t - 3 ) = 5 ( 2t - 1 )

3t - 9 = 10t - 5

-9 + 5 = 10t - 3t

-4 = 7t

7t = -4

t = -4 / 7

I hope this helps you.

The given pairs of term are linear equations.

Linear equation is an equation which have variables as well as real numbers.

GIVEN,

 \large{\mathsf{3(t-3) = 5(2t+1)}}

  • At first solve the brackets of both sides.

 \mathsf{3t - 9 = 10t +5}

  • Now take the like terms aside and solve.

 \mathsf{- 9- 5= 10t - 3t}

 \mathsf{ -14 = 7t}

 \mathsf{\dfrac{-14}{7} = t}

 \large \boxed{\mathsf{t= -2}}

\large{\mathsf{\dfrac{7y +4}{y+2} =\dfrac{-4}{3}}}

  • At first cross multiply the values .

\mathsf{3(7y +4) = -4(y+2)}

  • Now solve the brackets,

\mathsf{21y + 12= -4y - 8}

  • Take like terms aside.

\mathsf{21y + 4y =- 8 - 12}

\mathsf{25 y=-20}

 \mathsf{ \dfrac{25}{-20} = y}

\large \boxed{\mathsf{\dfrac{5}{-4} =y}}
