Answer:

(IV) = Sum of angles in a triangle is 180°

So,

(2x + 15) + (x + 10) + (3x + 5) = 180

6x + 30 = 180

x + 5 = 30

x = 25

(V) = Opposite sides in parallelogram are equal,

So,

5x - 1 = 3x + 5

2x = 6

x = 3

(VI) = In parallelogram, opposite angles are equal

and adjacent angles are equal to 180°

So,

if Q = 110°

S = 110°

and P = R = 70°

(VII) = In parallelogram, opposite angles are equal

and adjacent angles are equal to 180°

So,

A and B are adjacent,

(3y) + (2y - 5) = 180

5y = 185

y = 37

and since A and C are opposite angles,

(3y) = (3x + 3)

3×37 = 3x + 3

37 = x + 1

x = 36

(x,y) = (36,37)

(VIII) In parallelogram, diagonals bisect each other,

So,

OD = OB

which gives,

2y + 13 = 5y + 4

3y = 17

y = 17/3

also, OA = OC

which gives,

x + 8 = 16 - x

2x = 24

x = 12

(x,y) = (12,17/3)

Hope this helps you.
