let the length be l, width be b, depth is h,
d^2=l^2+b^2+h^2
surface area of cuboid=2 (lb+bh+lh)
l+b+h=s
squaring both sides,
(l+b+h)^2=s^2
l^2+b^2+h^2+2lb+2bh+2lh=s^2
d^2+2 (lb+bh+lh)=s^2
2 (lb+bh+lh)=surface area=(s^2-d^2)
