A.Linguistic states are states divided on basis of language.It is common in a multilingual country like India where diverse languages are spoken.
B.Language policy is what a government does either officially through legislation,court decisions or policy to determine how languages are used,cultivate language skills needed to national priorities or to establish the rights of individuals or group to use and maintain languages.
