1) In the opening paragraph the author has told us about the physical qualities of Maggie like she's a goldendoodle but more golden than doodle. She's full of energy, she's very loving, soft, a people pleasure (that means that people loved to play with her and she kept them entertained).
2) The author is grateful for the canine academy as they had done a great work by transforming Maggie from an unruly puppy to a beautiful companion. She is trained everyday and she loves to attend the weekly training sessions that the off-leash graduates take part in.
3) Everyone in the authors neighbourhood impressed by Maggie as she had turned into a well-behaved dog. The leash-pulling walks which were hard for the author were now a pleasure.
4) The author had called Maggie "The Demon" as when she was small and young she used to live to jump on the author, bite the author, and used to steal anything that she could find.
