Given:

Length of simple pendulum,l= 0.84 m

Acceleration due to gravity,g= 9.8 m/s²

To Find:

Time period of given simple pendulum

Solution:

We know that,

  • Time period T of a simple pendulum is given by

\pink{\boxed{\bf{T=2\pi\sqrt{\dfrac{l}{g}}}}}

\rule{190}{1}

Let the time period of given simple pendulum be T

So,

\longrightarrow\rm{T=2\pi\sqrt{\dfrac{l}{g}}}

\longrightarrow\rm{T=2\times\dfrac{22}{7}\times\sqrt{\dfrac{0.84}{9.8}}}

\longrightarrow\rm{T=\dfrac{44}{7}\times\sqrt{0.0857}}

\longrightarrow\rm{T=\dfrac{44}{7}\times0.292}

\longrightarrow\rm{T=\dfrac{12.848}{7}}

\longrightarrow\rm\green{T=1.84\ s\ (approx.)}

Hence, the time period of given simple pendulum is 1.84 s.
