hello friend,
answer is 23.4.......

alpha and beta are the zeroes of the polynomial P( x)
let P(x) = 0
Then , x² + 7x + 12 = 0
x² + 4x+3x +12 =0
x (x+4) + 3 ( x+4) = 0
x= -3 and x = -4
that's means alpha = -3 and beta = - 4
1/ alpha + 1/beta + 2 alpha beta
for easier alpha= a and beta = b ...

1/ a + 1/ b + 2ab= -1/3 -1/4 +2(-3)(-4)
= -1/3 -1/4 + 24
= -4-3+288/12
= 281/12 = 23.4....answer....

hope it helps you...
plz Mark it as a brainliest....

Hi friend,

{Let à = alpha , ß = beta}

Given,

à and ß are the zeroes of the polynomial,

x²+7x+12

a = 1 , b = 7 , c = 12

→ We know the relationship between zeroes and coefficients,

Sum of zeroes = -b/a

à+ß = -7/1 = -7

Product of zeroes = c/a

àß = 12/1 = 12

»We have to find the value

→ 1/à + 1/ß + 2àß

→ (à+ß)/àß + 2àß

→ -7/12 + 2(12)

→ -7/12 + 24

→ (-7+288)/12

→ 281/12

Hope it helps...

ash36: thanks
