let D is the midpoint of AB where angleA= 50° and angle B= x
AD=CD and BD=CD
angle A = angle DCA (angle opp. to equal sides are equal)
angle B= angle DCB
so angle C = 50° + x
applying angle sum property of triangle
angle A + angle B+ angle C= 180°
50°+x+(50°+x)=180°
100+2x= 180°
2x= 80
x= 40
