PQ=2x

QC = x

let height be H

so..area of APQ = 1/2 * H * 2x = H*x

8=H*x

so...H= 8/x

ABP = 1/2 * BP * H = 1/2 * x * 8/x=4

ABC = 1/2 * 4x * 8/x = 16
