therefore, bd=√ob^2-od^2(Pythagoras theorem)

bd=√400-100

=√300

bd=10√3 cm. or 10×1.73=17.3cm

similarly , dc =10√3 or 17.3cm

therefore, bc=bd+dc

=10√3+10√3

=√3(10+10)

20√3cm or. 17.3+17.3 =34.6cm
