 \frac{4a + 7b}{4c + 7d}  =  \frac{b}{d}  \\  \\ After \: cross \: multiplication \: we \: get, \:  \\  \\ d(4a + 7b) = b(4c + 7d) \\  \\ 4ad + 7bd = 4bc + 7bd \\  \\ We \: know \: that \: ad = bc \\ Hence, \: 4bc  + 7bd = 4bc + 7bd \\  \\ LHS \:  = RHS.
