let a =1/3 and b=-1/5

L.C.M of 3 and 5 is 15

then a=1×5/3×5 and b= -1×3/5×3

a=5/15 and b=-3/15

three rational number between a and b is 6/15,7/15,8/15 or 2/3,7/15,8/15.
