We should know that,

In a Plane Mirror,

a) The image formed will be exactly the size of the object.

b) The distance of the object from the mirror = distance of the image to the mirror

Now,

(i) Height of image = Height of object

We know that,

Height of object = 10cm

Thus, Height of image = 10cm

(ii) We know that,

Distance of object from mirror = Distance of image from mirror = (D)

We are given,

Total distance = 24cm

Distance of Object from mirror + Distance of image from the mirror = 24cm

But we know that they are equal,

D + D = 24cm

2D = 24cm

D = 24/2 = 12cm

Thus, the distance between object and mirror = 12cm
