Answer:

acceleration = 0

velocity = 20m/s

distance = 350m

Explanation:

acceleration = change in velocity /time

since there is no changes in velocity

change in velocity =0

so acceleration is zero

velocity =20m/s

distance = velocity * time

= 20 * 15

= 350m

A velocity versus time graph has been provided showing the motion of a cyclist. In short , the cyclist is moving at a constant velocity of 20 metre per second.

The graph shows a straight blue line parallel to the the time axis.

Since the velocity of the cyclist is not changing with respect to time we can say that the acceleration of the cyclist is zero.

 \boxed{ \sf{ \red{acceleration = 0 \: m {s}^{ - 2} }}}

Distance can be calculated by finding the area enclosed by the velocity vs time graph.

Let distance be s :

 \sf{s = area \: under \: the \: graph}

 =  >  \sf{s = area \: of \: rectangle}

 =  >  \sf{s =20 \times 15}

 =  >  \sf{s =300 \: m}

So distance travelled is 300 m.
