The solid into liquid change is actually melting. The reverse of this process is freezing.the liquid to gas change is evaporation.the reverse of this process is condensation.if u want to know solid to gas it is called sublimation.the reverse of this process is deposition

Hey there!

1. \textbf{Solid - Liquid}
(Fusion/Melting)

The process of changing Solid to Liquid is called Melting or Fusion.

E.g.: Ice (Solid) changes on to Water (liquid) by Melting or Fusion.

2. \textbf {Liquid to Solid}
(Freezing)

The process of changing Liquid to Solid is called Freezing.

E.g.: Water (Liquid) changed to Ice (Solid) by freezing.

3 . \textbf {Gas - Solid}
(Sublimation)

The process of changing Gas to Solid is called Sublimation

E.g.: Water vapor (gas) transforms directly into ice (solid) without becoming a water (liquid), a process that often occurs on windows during the winter months

4.\textbf {Solid - Gas}

The process of changing Solid to Gas is also called Sublimation.

E.g.: Naphtalene balls (solid) undergo sublimation to form Vapour (gas)

5. \textbf {Gas - Liquid}
(Condensation)

The process of changing Gas to Liquid is called Condensation.

E.g.: Water Vapour (gas) changes into Water (liquid) when the boiled water is cooled (by condensation)

6. \textbf {Liquid - Gas}
(Evaporation)

The process of changing Liquid to Gas is called Evaporation

E.g.: Water (Liquid) changes to Water Vapour (gas) when it undergoes Evaporation (by boiling)

Hope helped.
