Higher homologues = C3H8 (Propane)

(homologues - - - -

Suppose we have CH3-CH3 (ethane)

And we add CH2

In it it will give us

CH3-CH2-CH3 (PROPANE )

again On adding CH2 IT will give Butane)

This is know as homologues series in carbon

Lower homologues= C2H2 (Enthyne)
