R2 = 14/4

R2+0.5= 14/4+0.5

16/4 = 4 ohm

total resistance = 4 ohm

ii)e = I (R+r)

I = 9 / 4

I = 2.25A

total current = 2.25 A

iii)v=IR

9 = I* 6

9/6 = I

1.5 A = I

current in 6 ohm = 1.5A

iv)v=IR

v = 2.25*14/4

v = 7.875v

potential difference across the cell = 7.875v
