hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

we will solve this by splitting method.

given :- 9x² - 12x + 4

9 × 4 = 36

multiples of 36 :- 2 and 18 , 3 and 12, 4 and 9, 6 and 6

the result after subtracting or adding the multiples should be 12 (middle term)

let us check 2 and 18 first.

2 + 18 = 20, 18 - 2 = 16

now 3 and 12.

3 + 12 = 15, 12 - 3 = 9

now 4 and 9.

4 + 9 = 13, 9 - 4 = 5

at last 6 and 6.

6 + 6 = 12

so we will use this pair of multiple.

on putting the multiples :-

= 9x² - ( 6x + 6x ) + 4

= 9x² - 6x - 6x + 4

= 3 ( 3x - 2 ) - 2 ( 3x - 2 )

= ( 3x - 2 ) ( 3 - 2 ) FINAL ANSWER

hope this helps..!!
