❏ Used ForMuLaS:-

If \alpha \:and \:\beta are two zeroes of the quadratic equation

➔ ax²+bf+c=0

And,the equation holding the sum and the product of the zeroes is given by,

\bf \sf\boxed{x{}^{2}-(\alpha+\beta)x+\alpha \beta=0}

❏ Question:-

Q) If m and n are two zeroes of the quadratic equation +x+1=0

Then find \sf\longrightarrow \frac{1}{m}+\frac{1}{n}= ?

Solution:-

Now, x²+x+1=0

➝x²+(-1)x+1=0.......(i)

Now comparing the equation (i) with the equation \bf \sf x{}^{2}-(m+n)x+mn=0

we get,

(m+n)=(-1)

and ,

mn=1

Now,

\sf\longrightarrow \frac{1}{m}+\frac{1}{n}

\sf\longrightarrow \frac{m+n}{mn}

[ putting the values m+n=-1 and mn=1 ]

\sf\longrightarrow \frac{-1}{1}

\sf\longrightarrow \boxed{\large{\red{-1}}}
