2.acc. to question , as per the signs given

27 + 81 / 9 - 6

108 / 9 - 6

12 - 6

= 6 ur answer

3.let the no. of cats = x

no. of hens = y

x + y = 5 ( as both hens and cats have one head........1.

4x + 2y = 16 ( as cats have 4 legs and hens have two).........2.

by elimination method

x + y = 5 * 4

4x + 2y = 16

4x + 4y = 20

4x + 2y = 16

2y = 4

y = 2

putting value of y in 1. eq.

x + y = 5

x + 2 = 5

x = 5 - 2

x = 3

therefore , no. of cats (x) = 3

no. of hens (y) = 2
