Answer:

Explanation:

1) During Photosynthesis, Chlorophyll (which are found in the chloroplast which are located in the palisade mesophyll cells, spongy mesophyll cell etc...) convert Light energy into Chemical Energy which is then used to convert Water (from the soil) and Carbon Dioxide (from the atmosphere) into Glucose (Chemical Formula: C6H12O6) and Oxygen (released to the atmosphere)

3) Digestion of Starch occurs in the Mouth where Saliva are secreted from the Salivary Glands. Saliva contains Amylase (Enzymes to break Starch into Maltose).  Another Site would be the Duodenum (Small Intestine), Pancreatic Juice Secreted from the Pancreas travelling through the pancreatic duct into the duodenum. Pancreatic Juice contains range of enzymes which includes Amylase.

Protein digestion is done in both the stomach and the duodenum. We have two types of Protease: Trypsin and Pepsin. In the stomach, where the pH is low (acidic) due to the Gastric Juice secreted, Pepsin is used to  digest Proteins because Pepsin works best at low pH level. Then the gastric juice flows down into the duodenum and the pancreatic juice which we mentioned earlier enters the duodenum as well. The pancreatic juice is alkaline (high pH level) and therefore neutralisation between the pancreatic juice and gastric juice occurs, forming a neutral pH environment. This is where Trypsin works best. pH 7 (Neutral) is its optimum pH, and it digests Proteins. They both break proteins into polypeptides which later on in the Ileum, peptidases are secreted to break the polypeptides into amino acids.

Fats (aka Lipids) are also digested in the Small Intestine, in the Duodenum, Bile are secreted from the Gall Bladder (a storage for bile) through the Bile Duct into the the Duodenum. Bile are used for emulsification, it emulsifies the fats, breaking them into smaller soluble pieces which increases the surface area for digestion. That is when Lipase (in the pancreatic juice) digests it into Fatty Acids and Glycerol.

4) In the Gastric Juice, as we mentioned earlier, it contains Pepsin. And its role is to break down Proteins in an acidic environment. Gastric Juice is basically Hydrochloric Acid.

Correct Me If I'm Wrong but pretty much Everything should be correct. <3
