= 5

If p(3) So

p(3) = 2 ({3}^{2} ) - 4 \times 3 + 5 \\  \\  = 18 - 12 + 5 \\  \\  = 6 + 5 = 11

If p(-2) So

p( - 2) = 2( { - 2}^{2} ) - 4( - 2) + 5 \\  \\  = 8 + 8 + 5 \\  \\  = 16 + 5 \\  \\  = 21
