Ratio of Weight of Cu & Zn :: Ratio of Cu & Zn

48.6 : x :: 9 : 5

Product of Extremes = Product of mean

48.6 × 5 = 9x
=> x = (48.6×5)/9
=> x = 27


The weight of Zn = 27 gms
