Answer:

BC = 24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In right angled ∆ABC, we have

BC² + (7)² = (25)² (By Pythagoras property)

BC² + 49 = 625

BC² = 625 - 49

BC² = 576

BC = √576

= 24 cm

Given :

⬤ ABC is a Triangle , Right Angled Triangle at C .

⬤ AB = 25 cm.

⬤ AC = 7 cm .

To Find :

⬤ Length of BC .

Formula Used :

{\bf[\:{(Hypotenuse)}^{2}={(Base)}^{2}+{(Perpendicular)}^{2}}\:]

Solution :

According to the Formula :-

By Pythagoras Theorem :-

(H)² = (B)² + (P)²

(AB)² = (BC)² + (AC)²

(25)² = (x)² + (7)²

(25 × 25) = (x)² + (7×7)

625 = x² + 49

625 - 49 = x²

576 = x²

√576 = x

24 = x

Therefore , The Length of BC is 24 cm .
