In order to measure the density  of any object we need to first measure two things. i.e. total weight and volume of that body or sample of that body

Density = Mass/Volume.

Unit : kg/m^3.

FOR A  - regular shaped object

1.Use a ruler to measure the length (l), width (w) and height (h) of the object

2.Measure the mass, m, of the object, using the balance.

3.Calculate the volume (Volume = length x width x height).

4.Use the measurements to calculate the density of the object

Compare your results with the accepted values for each material.
