Can you answer to my question?

1 Answer. "To" is right; "on" would be intelligible, but not the usual way to say it: it would mean "an answer on the subject of my question", which is needlessly long and less clear, except perhaps in unusual contexts.

yathinabhisista: what rubbish u r saying
yathinabhisista: hey control ur language
yathinabhisista: did I say that I knew it
yathinabhisista: If I had known the answer then y I will ask someone
yathinabhisista: sorry to talk in a wrong manner but see the question first I asked omission, but she/he isnt answering my question but she's putting a question to me
