Given,

2H2O ----> 2H2 + O2

Mass of hydrogen = 1

Mass of oxygen = 16

In the reactant side there r 4H and 2O

So mass will be 4+32 = 36

In the product side there r 4H and 2O

So mass will be 4+32 = 36

36 = 36

Since, mass on reactant side and product side r equal; it satisfies the law of conservation of mass.
