Step-by-step explanation:

(i) In quadrilateral PQRS,

AREA = ar(PQS) + ar(QRS)

=> Area of PQS = 1/2 × 4× 7 = 14 cm²

=> Area of PRS = 1/2 × 3 × 7 = 10.5 cm²

Area = 14 + 10.5 = 24.5 cm²

(ii) In quadrilateral ABCD,

AREA = ar(ABC) + ar(ACD)

=> Area of ABC = 1/2 × 6 × 3.5 = 10.5 cm²

=> Area of ACD = 1/2 × 6 × 2 = 6 cm²

Area = 10.5 + 6 = 16.5 cm²

(iii) In polygon ABCDE,

AREA = ar(ABC) + ar(ACDE)

=> Area of ABC = 1/2 × 4 × 12 = 24 cm²

=> Area of ACDE = 1/2 × 2 × (8+12) = 20 cm²

Area = 24 + 20 = 44 cm²
