The degree of the following Question is 3.

Exaplanation:-

  • Degree stands for the highest power of a polynomial.

So, checking the polynomial, the highest degree in numerator is 4 and in the denominator its 1 (as x^1=x)

If the polynomial is single variable then directly subtract the power of numerator and denominator.

So, by subtracting we get

4-1=3

So, the Answer is 3

To explain it more Greatly divide the polynomial

By dividing we get

  \tt \: \dfrac{x}{2}  + 4 {x}^{2}  + 1 + 3 {x}^{3}

Now we know that highest power is degree. So highest power is three.

So, degree is 3

Option A is the correct answer.
