A:student passed in physics
B:student passed in maths
P(AUB) =100
P(A)=55
P(B)=67
So P(AnB) =22
No of student passed in physics only is
P(A-B) =P(A) - P(AnB)
=55-22
=33

aniketsikta: question wrong hai
deb15: nahi hai wrong... kisne kaha... jst waha par aak information diya nahi hai

mamathatk03p1cdux: hey can you tell me how you got 22
mamathatk03p1cdux: in P(AnB)
deb15: there is a formula, P(AUB) =P(A) +P(B) - P(AnB).... it the simplest formula.
deb15: now i think u can calculate P(AnB) from that!
mamathatk03p1cdux: thank you
