Hey Mate !!

Let three consecutive numbers are

(x), (X+1) and (X+2)

According to question.

(X)+(X+1),(X+2) = 72

3X +3 = 72.

3X = 69 ; X = 23.

Now put this value in (X),(X+1),(X+2)

You'll get that three consecutive numbers whose sum is 72.

Let put it ..

  • X = 23 (first no.)
  • X+1 = 23+1 => 24 (Second no.).
  • X+2 = 23+2 => 25 (third no.).

Hence Consecutive numbers are 23,24,25

And Thier sums are 72..

23+24+25 = 72 ... proved too..
