it is given that perimeter of rectangle is 68
so, 2(l+b)=68
or l+b=34. (eqn 1)
also diagonal is given 26m
so apply Pythagoras theorem
i.e l^2+b^2=(26)^2
so l^2+b^2=676. (eqn 2)
also ,
from equation 1 ,squaring eqn 1 we will get
l^2+b^2+2lb=1156
from eqn 2 substituting value of l^2+b^2
so we get 676+2lb=1156
2lb=480
lb=240 m .
