Now in ΔABD And ΔACD

∠BAD = ∠CAD

AD = AD (common side)

∠ADB = ∠ADC (Both 90, since AD is perpendicular to BC)

Therefore by ASA congruency

ΔABD ≅ ΔACD

By CPCT

AB = AC , HENCE PROVED
