Given that ∆ ABC=~ ∆PQR

Then,

AB=PQ

BC=QR

AC=PR

(•as given both are congruent)

(I)the measure of angle R

As, both are congruent, then

angle A=angle P

angle B= angle Q

angle C= angle R

Then, as given a+ b = 120°

So, p+ q= 120°

( As both are congruent)

Sum of the interior angles = 180°

And

a+b+c=180°

p+q+r=180°

120°+r= 180°

(As both are congruent)

R= 180°-120°

R= 60°

(ii)As given earlier,

AB = PQ

BC = QR

PQ = 2cm

QR = 4 cm
