Step-by-step explanation:

              --------------------------Here is your Answer Mate---------------------

According to the Question,

In the First Case its a Rectangle, so travelling around a rectangle means that we have to find the Perimeter

So the Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2  * (Length + Breadth)

                                                      = 2 * (12 + 3)

                                                      = 2 * 15

                                                      = 30 cm

So we can say that we will travel a distance  of 30 cm.

                     ---------------------------------------------------------------------

In the 2nd Case Its a Trapezium, so in this case too we have to find the Perimeter

Perimeter of Trapezium = a + b + c + d

                                        = 4 + 4 + 4 + 6

                                        = 18 cm

So we can say that we can travel a distance of 18 cm around the Trapezium

                      ----------------Hope this helps you mate----------------
