 {( {2}^{3} )}^{255}  =   {( {2}^{5}) }^{x}

 {2}^{765}  =  {2}^{3x}

3x = 765

x =  \frac{765}{3}  = 255

x = 255

(iii)

 {2}^{2x + 2}  =  {4}^{2x - 1}

 =  { ({2}^{2}) }^{2x - 1}

 =  {2}^{4x - 2}

 =  > 2x + 2 = 4x - 2

 =  > 2x = 4

 =  > x = 2
