Given g(x) = x - 3.


Now,

          2x^2   +   3x  +  14
         ---------------------------------------
x - 3)  2x^3    -   3x^2   +  5x   -  7

          2x^3    -    6x^2

          ----------------------------------------

                          3x^2   +   5x  -  7

                          3x^2   -  9x

          -------------------------------------

                                       14x   -   7

                                       14x   -   42

               ------------------------------------

                                                    35.




Therefore Quotient = 2x^2 + 3x + 14 and remainder = 35
