Number of atoms of Au = 197/197×N(A). In N close-packed spheres there are 2N tetrahedral interstices and N octahedral interstices for a total of 3N interstices. The answer is ∴ 3N(A).......hope it helps my dear

in ccp arrangement effective no of atom in one unit cell is 4

so no of octahedral and tetrahedral void will be 4and 8 respectively

4atom is equivalent to 12voids therefore N no of atom is equivalent to 3N (N=avogadro no)
