cost for sweets in bags -

cost of 120g sweets = £1.49

=> cost of 1g sweet = £ 1.49/120

= £ 0.01242

cost for loose sweets -

cost of 100g sweets = £0.89

=> cost of 1 g loose sweets = £0.89/100

= £ 0.0089

We have just used simple unitary method to find the cost per gram of sweets in both the cases.

clearly we can see that 0.01242 > 0.0089, thus the loose sweets are cheaper and we can get more amount of sweets for the same price. Hence loose sweets are more valuable.
