1. 3y^2+12y

(a+b)(a-b)=a^2 -b^2

(3y+12y)(3y-12y)=3y^2-12y^2

therefore .3y^2+12y=3y^2-2y^2

A) 3y^2+12

=3(y^2+4)

=3(y^2+2^2) (a2+b2)=(a+b)2 - ab)

=3( y+2)2 -2y

=3(y^2+4+4y-2y)

=3(y^2+2y+4)

=3(y+2)(y+2)

B) 36x^2y-6xy^2

=6xy(6x-y)

C) a^2+24ab+144b^2

=a^2+(12+12)ab+144b^2

=a^2+12ab+12ab+144b^2

=a(a+12b)+12b(a+12b)

=(a+12b)(a+12b)

E) 1-81b^2

=1^2-(9b)^2

=(1+9)(1-9)

=(1+9)(1^2-3^2)

=(1+9)(1+3)(1-3)

D) x^2-4y^2

=x^2-(2y)^2

=(x+2y)(x-2y)
