siril: 0.0196 is the answer
siril: but according to the approximated formula(which everyone use) it is 0.2
siril: i meant 0.02....sorry

Number of moles of solute(urea)    = n₁ =  6/60  = 0.1
Number of moles of solvent(water) = n₂ = 90/18 = 5

Relative lowering of vapour pressure = mole fraction of solute
                                                           = n₁/(n₁ +n₂)

but when n₁<<<<<n₂ as in this case

Relative lowering of vapour pressure is approximated as n₁/n₂
                                                                                        = 0.1/5
                                                                                        = 0.02

Hope u get helped by it

cuttee: i agree with you but both are there in options
cuttee: so
siril: the one without approximations is correct
siril: .i.e, 0.0196
cuttee: yeah but 0.1 / 5 gives you 0.02 then how 0.0196
siril: look i approximated n1/(n1 +n2) as n1/n2 because n1=0.1 is very small
siril: and if hadn't done that then the answer would be n1/(n1 + n2) = 0.1/5.1
siril: then 0.1/5.1 would give the answer 0.0196
siril: got it?
cuttee: thanks
