QUESTION✪:-

∠C = 108° ,find ∠a and ∠b.

ANSWER✪:-

from the diagram ,

➥opposite sides are parallel to each other

➥if a quadrilateral has opposite sides ,then it is said to be parallelogram

In parallelogram,

➥opposite angles are equal

so here,

  • ∠b = ∠c = 108°
  • ∠a = ∠d = x

sum of the angles of a quadrilateral = 360°

➠∠a + ∠b + ∠c + ∠d = 360°

➠ x + 108° + 108° + x = 360°

➠ 2x + 216° = 360°

➠ 2x = 360° - 216°

➠ 2x = 144°

➠ x = 144° / 2

➠ x = 72°

Therefore ,

  • ∠a = 72°
  • ∠b = 108°
  • ∠c = 72°
  • ∠d = 108°

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

✪QUESTION✪:-

∠C = 108° ,find ∠a and ∠b.

✪ANSWER✪:-

from the diagram ,

➥opposite sides are parallel to each other

➥if a quadrilateral has opposite sides ,then it is said to be parallelogram

In parallelogram,

➥opposite angles are equal

so here,

∠b = ∠c = 108°

∠a = ∠d = x

➠sum of the angles of a quadrilateral = 360°

➠∠a + ∠b + ∠c + ∠d = 360°

➠ x + 108° + 108° + x = 360°

➠ 2x + 216° = 360°

➠ 2x = 360° - 216°

➠ 2x = 144°

➠ x = 144° / 2

➠ x = 72°

Therefore ,

∠a = 72°

∠b = 108°

∠c = 72°

∠d = 108°
