In the parallelogram ABCD, AB= 15cm, AD = 17cm and BD = 22 cm.

So area of ABCD = 2× area of triangle ABD

To find area of triangle ABD we can use Heron's formula

Area of triangle whose sides are a,b c units is

√{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) where s =(a+b+c)/2= 15+17+22)/2 = 27

AREA= 127.26

So area of parallelogram ABCD = 2* 127.26= 254.52

check this pic for 2nd q and try to solve take 2 sides as x & x+4
