❇ GERUND

GERUND is a form of verb which is used as a noun particularly by using " ing " after the verb.

Example = Swimming is a good exercise.

❇ PARTICIPLE

PARTICIPLE is a form of verb which is used as a adjective or adverb . It also contains " ing"
But acts as a adjective or adverb instead of noun.

There are three types of participles :

(1) Present participle
(2) Past participle
( 3) Past perfect participle
