(5y/2)-(x/3)=8

Or, 15y-2x=48 [because, LCM=6]

Or, 75y-10x=240 [Multiplied both sides with 5 so that, one of the element is equal in both equation that is 10x]

(y/2)+(5x/3)=12

Or, 3y+10x=72 [because LCM=6]

On adding the LHS and RHS of the bolded equations, we get-

78y=312

Therefore, y=4

And, putting value of y in the equation (3y+10x=72) we get,

10x=60

Therefore, x=6
