It can be divided by remainder theorem...

f(x) = 5x^3+x^4+32x+88

we have to divide x+2,

for the value of x, we have to find its zero of the polynomial.

x+2=0

x= -2

f(-2)= 5× (-2)^3 + (-2)^4 + 32×- 2+88

= 5 × -8 + 16 - 64 + 88

= -40 - 48 + 88

= -88 + 88

=0
