2. The National People's Congress has the power to elect the President of the country.

3. It has 3000 members elected from all over China. Some of them are elected from the Army

4. Before Contest elections the candidate has to take the permission of Chinese Communist party

5. Only Chinese communist party or 8 smaller parties Allied to it were allowed to contest the elections in 2002 -2003

So the government is always formed by the Chinese communist party. So elections in China do not represent people s verdict.
