According to me

answer would be

1st plane:-140kmph

2nd plane:-60kmph

After 6 hours the 2 planes have flown a combined distance of 1200kilometer.

1200 divided by 6= 200

They have flown at a combined speed of 200kmph, therefore their average speed is 100kmph.

The speed difference is 80kmph.

Therefore 80 divided by 2 = 40

Add 40kmph to the average speed of one, minus 40kmph from the average speed of the other one.

100 + 40 = 140

100 -40 = 60

The speeds of the planes are 140 kmph & 60 kmph.

Check:-

The first plane 140kmph X 6 = 840km

Second plane 60 kmph X 6 = 360km

840 + 360 = 1200km

BTW answer is not 80km and 160km.
