let,

ax + by= c -----(1)

bx + ay = 1 + c -----(2)

multiplying (1) by b and (2) by a

so,

bax +  {b}^{2} y = bc

bax +  {a}^{2} y = a + ac

by elimination method,

bax +  {b}^{2} y = bc

bax +  {a}^{2} y = a + ac

(-) (-) (-)

-------------------------------------------

0 + y( {b}^{2}  -  {a}^{2} ) = bc - a - ac \\ y( {b}^{2}  -  {a}^{2} ) = c(b - a)  - a

so,

y =  \frac{ c(b - a) - a}{ {b}^{2} -  {a}^{2}  }

and from (1)

x =  \frac{c - by}{a}

so,

x =  \frac{c - b( \frac{c(b - a) - a}{ {b}^{2} { - a}^{2}  } )}{a}

x =   \frac{ \frac{c -  {b}^{2}c  + bac + ab }{ {b}^{2} -  {a}^{2}  } }{a}

x =  \frac{c -  {b}^{2}c + bac + ab}{ {b}^{2} -  {a}^{2}  }  \times  \frac{1}{a}   \\ x =  \frac{c -  {b}^{2} c + bac+ ab}{a {b}^{2} -  {a}^{3}  }

so a above are the values of x and y

ax+by=c... (1)

bx+ay=1+c... (2)

Putting (1) eq. into (2) eq.

bx+ay=1+ax+by

bx-ax+ay-by=1

x(b-a) +y(a-b) =1

x+y=1

hope it will help you out...
